My name is Alexis Paulk and I am a first grade teacher in the mitten state! I currently teach in the Novi Community School District at Village Oaks Elementary, a diverse and inclusive school! I graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) and earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis on Language Arts. I also acquired a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Right now, I am continuing my journey as a proud Spartan. I am an online graduate student in the Educational Technology program at MSU. I created this portfolio in hopes that you would have a chance to explore who I am professionally and personally, understand my teaching philosophy, and experience my passion for teaching first-hand!
